Welcome to the website for the Shire of White Mountain! We are the local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism for the Alamogordo, NM area. The SCA is a historical study organization in which we learn about the past by studying and then recreating the activities that were common during the middle ages.

In the SCA, we divide the world up into 'kingdoms', and then further into local groups called, among other things, baronies or shires. The Shire of White Mountain is located in the Kingdom of the Outlands.
